Victoria and Sawyer travelled all the way from LA to elope in Qu\u00e9bec during peak fall colors, and we found just the right place to make that happen. The picturesque mountain locations we chose were ideal for their intimate fall outdoor wedding in Mont-Tremblant<\/strong>, from the quiet moments getting ready at their cabin to evening portraits under a colorful sunset sky. It was an honor to show these California adventurers around the beautiful place I call home!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A trip from LA to elope during Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s peak fall colors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are traveling from the States to elope in Qu\u00e9bec, you can trust that I\u2019ll find the most amazing location to bring your vision to life and make the trip incredibly worth it. For Victoria and Sawyer, this meant finding somewhere they could experience Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s peak fall colors as much as possible, as vibrant fall foliage is not something they have where they live in LA. I always love scouting out locations for my couples beforehand, so I was thrilled to explore and find an amazing destination for them since they couldn\u2019t travel here before their intimate wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s back it up a bit first, though, because I am a sucker for a romantic proposal story. Sawyer asked Victoria to marry him while hiking in Malibu, California, at the highest point with a view of the ocean and no other people in sight, just fields of wildflowers and trees. So it only made sense that they would exchange vows atop a mountain and incorporate their shared love for adventure and being outdoors! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria and Sawyer\u2019s main priority was being able to enjoy their wedding without a packed, rushed schedule and to have plenty of time to spend with their immediate families. We kept this in mind as we coordinated their timeline, ceremony, and activities, making sure that nothing was too set in stone and that we\u2019d have a chance to go with the flow when the day arrived. We definitely succeeded in that goal, and it shows in how laid-back, effortless, and intimate their photos (and experience) turned out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting ready at a scenic mountain view cabin in Lac-Sup\u00e9rieur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Their day started at a gorgeous cabin in Lac-Sup\u00e9rieur with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, joined by friends and family who all traveled from the States to celebrate with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Victoria\u2019s mom helped her get ready alongside a talented hairstylist, whom I recommended because she had eloped herself and had firsthand experience to offer. Victoria wore a simple yet elegant low bun, a hairpiece for a little sparkle, and loose, effortless curls framing her face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sawyer got ready with his dad in another room, where he opened a sweet and heartfelt gift from his bride-to-be\u2019s mom: a traditional Chinese red envelope. In Chinese culture, these envelopes are traditionally given by elders or married couples, and symbolize joy, happiness, and prosperity. What a lovely and thoughtful way to start off their marriage journey!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once dressed in his eye-catching forest green tuxedo and brown bowtie, he found his beautiful bride out in front of the cabin for their first look. And with the most spectacular views, I might add! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Breathtaking mountain top vows and views<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the planning process, Victoria and Sawyer shared that their dream location was somewhere with mountains and big, colorful trees, with vast skies in the background. So I found just the place: this stunning location in Mont-Tremblant. I recommended it to the couple for its ease of access, since they wanted to bring their loved ones to their ceremony. I guided them to pick the best timing and area, since Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s peak fall colors don\u2019t last long, and it\u2019s important to choose your date carefully. <\/p>\n\n\n
