Enchantée, I’m Mirona,
your Québec elopement photographer & guide.
I’ve been photographing weddings since I was 18, but the trajectory of my career forever changed when a couple told me about their plans to elope.
Where my passion for Québec elopements started
Anicka and Ryan wanted to plan an intimate elopement in the Charlevoix region without ever having been there. They were looking for someone who could not only capture their union but who also knew the area well enough to help them find an intimate ceremony location away from tourists.
Their project immediately spoke to me, and in just a few weeks I tapped into all the resources, knowledge, and contacts at my disposal to help them find a breathtaking location for their elopement.
Me the first time I visited their ceremony location in person. I still couldn’t believe that a couple was going to get married here because of my help. 🤯
As I worked closely to help them define and build their dream elopement, I realized the immense impact this kind of assistance could have on couples across Québec who didn’t see themselves in the typical big wedding.
Unlike the loud, hectic, stressful weddings I was used to…
Having an elopement now gave my couples the freedom to redefine the way they wanted to celebrate their relationship to create together an intentional and authentic experience of their own.
Since then, I’ve made it my mission to spread the word about elopements to as many couples as possible, to inspire them to have a wedding that truly feels like them!

My approach to photography
For me, your experience is the most important thing.
Beyond beautiful photos, my mission on your wedding day is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without pressure, stress, or expectations.
I want to co-create with you images that celebrate your relationship and document how you naturally interact together.
I know how intimidating it can feel to be in front of the camera on such a special and intimate day. In fact, almost all the couples you see on my website have told me they were nervous about being awkward in front of the camera before their big day. It’s totally normal! These same couples couldn’t believe their eyes after seeing their photos.
