Surprise Fall Marriage Proposal at Sutton in the Eastern Townships

Last month in the midst of the fall colors, I had the opportunity to photograph Hamza and Chantale’s proposal at Sutton in the Eastern Townships. Here are a few shots of their day!

When I arrived at their proposal site I was completely speechless, the view of the Sutton mountains was completely breathtaking.

For the occasion, I was lucky enough to work again with a good friend of mine, Anastasia, a proposal planner at The I Do Club who handled all of the planning for Hamza’s proposal. From booking the venue, coordinating with the various service providers (including the beautiful artist who created the balloon arch) to planning the food, Anastasia had thought of everything to make sure Hamza and Chantale had the most pleasant proposal possible. A real pro at work!

Shortly after my arrival Hamza also arrived with his girlfriend, Chantale, who was blindfolded for the big surprise. Some of their best friends were also there to celebrate the big proposal with them in Sutton.

Once in front of the beautiful balloon arch, Hamza got down on one knee and asked Chantale to marry him. She couldn’t believe it!

Their friends were not too far away to congratulate them! They had driven several hours to be there and Chantale wasn’t expecting it. It was such a nice surprise!
