Proposal location ideas in Montréal
Quai de l’horloge – Vieux-Port
This location is one of my all-time favorites in the Old Port for proposals since it gives you a mix of urban and historical landscapes.

Rue Saint-Amable – Vieux-Port
This little street is perfect for a late afternoon/ night proposal with its jaw-dropping fairy lights. The stress is also popular amongst tourists so you might get some people cheering you on when I’ll be dropping on one knee.

Grande Roue de Montréal – Vieux-Port
This is of course an iconic location for a proposal, but the bridge is always crowded with tourists going to the Grande Roue so be mindful of that.

Grand Quai – Vieux-Port
The Gand Quai has in my opinion the best view you can get of the sunset in the Old Port. This place is perfect for any afternoon/ sunset proposals.

Cour intérieur du Gibbys – Vieux-Port
Harder to access if you’ve never been. If it’s your first time in Montréal I wouldn’t suggest this one.

Canal Lachine – Vieux-Port

On the streets – Vieux-Port
The Old Port is surely always crowded with people but there are many more intimate little streets where you can propose. The photo below was taken at the corner of Rue du Saint-Sacrement and Rue Saint-Éloi.

Belvédère Kondiaronk – Mont-Royal
This place gives an amazing view of Montréal it’s usually really crowded. If you are okay with that then absolutely go for it! 🙌

Jardin de Chine – Jardin Botanique
